Austin Bar Association’s People’s Law School

Do I really need a will? What does it mean to be appointed executor in someone’s will? What legal steps should I take when a family member dies?

The Austin Bar Association has started a video program on their website called The People’s Law School to answer these and other questions of interest to the public.

The program’s first series of answers concern estate planning and probate. Future areas will include family law and property rights.

I was honored to be the instructor for this first series of questions. You can watch the videos at the Austin Bar Association website or just click on the questions below.

Client Review

Joe was friendly, empathetic, and accommodating, putting me at ease very quickly upon first meeting him, and always thereafter. He was very patient and responsive, and clearly knowledgeable. He took time to thoroughly answer my questions in easily understandable terms, being very adept at simplifying the legal jargon.
